Donate to our Silent Auction
During the run of the fall show, RCMPI holds a Silent Auction as a fundraiser. We would appreciate any donations toward this endeavour. As a registered charitable organization, RCMPI is able to provide you with a receipt for the value of your donation.
In the past, donations have consisted of restaurant gift certificates, paintings and pottery from local artists, hockey tickets, a gift certificate for a fitness class, theatre tickets, or a gift basket. RCMPI is very pleased to showcase local businesses that support community theatre, and we are happy to include a business card or small placard promoting the item.
If you wish to make a contribution, please click the link below. If you have any questions, you can contact our Silent Auction Coordinators by email at silentauction@rcmpi.ca.
We will be happy to arrange for the donation to be picked up by one of our volunteers.
Auditions
Auditions for our fall production usually occur in May/June
Auditions for our Youth production usually occur in October/November.
Auditions for our spring production usually occur in December or January.
Audition notices are posted on this website, so please check back again for more details if you are interesting in being a cast member.
Production Staff
All aspects of a show are undertaken by volunteers – it’s not just the on-stage cast: producers, directors, stage managers, stage crew, carpenters, painters, advertising and publicity are all needed to put a show on. Anyone with an interest in getting involved is welcome, please contact us. You can also fill out this form to share your interest in volunteering.
Artistic Staff
RCMPI is always interested to hear from directors, musical directors and choreographers who want to work with the opportunities RCMPI can create. Artistic staff are selected well in advance of our spring and fall shows. Please feel free to contact us at any time with ideas on how you can help us. You can also fill out this form to share your interest in volunteering.
Committees
A lot of hard work goes into keeping Royal City Musical Productions running as a registered charity with an active community presence, and to ensure that the experience of everyone involved in our shows is a positive one. A lot of the regular work of the company is performed by committees of volunteers.
If you’re interested in contributing beyond an individual show, check out more information about our committees.
Show Proposals
RCMPI selects its shows through a selection process each year. For information on this process: Fall Show, Youth Show and Spring Show Proposals.
