Bringing Musical Theatre to Guelph Since 1979

On stage February 26-March 1, 2026

Guelph Little Theatre, Guelph The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “Anything can happen if you let it.”

On stage April 30-May 3, 2026

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is a nonstop Vaudevillian laughfest in which Pseudolus, a crafty Roman slave, contrives to win the hand of a beautiful young courtesan for his young master, in exchange for his freedom. The plot twists and turns with hilarity and mistaken identity on its way to a happy ending.

RCMPI was founded in 1978 through the efforts of a local group that recognized the need for a musical theatre company in this area. The objectives of the company are to provide high caliber entertainment to the citizens of Guelph and area through the presentation of Broadway style musicals and to provide a forum through which amateur actors, singers, dancers and technicians can express themselves through participation in a community theatre company.
