West Side Story
Everyone is familiar with this powerful
adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Young lovers Maria
and Tony are caught in a storm of racial intolerance, family traditions,
and street-gang rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks against the back
drop of New York City's west side during the last days of summer, 1957.
This classic tale of star-crossed lovers explores themes of tolerance
and loyalty in a time and place not too far from our own. Music theater
at its most compelling and compassionate, this show will enthrall
audiences of all ages.
The Sharks and Jets along with Anita and Maria prepare for 'Tonight'.
