Correction - The newsletter sent this morning incorrectly stated that auditions for Into the Woods will run May 13-15, this is incorrect. Auditions for the Wizard of Oz will run at that time.

Into the Woods opens this week and it is sure to be an outstanding production. There are still tickets available through the River Run box office but they are limited, so get them quick! All tickets are $29.00. Click on the image to get your tickets now!
Auditions

Auditions for The Wizard of Oz are set to run May 13 to 15. 

You can book your audition slot online now.

Performances run November 23 to 27, 2016 on the River Run Centre's Main Stage.


 
Join us for our annual awards night and help us celebrate the incredible talent in our community!

Voting for the awards night will be sent out shortly after Into the Woods and will include nominations from HMS Pinafore, Fiddler on the Roof, and Into the Woods.

Tickets may not be available at the door, we encourage all members to purchase their tickets before May 20.
You can purchase your tickets online or contact a social committee member (Holly Reid, Jane Martin, Sue Lawrenson, Lindsay Cox, Peter Strain, Breanne Tice) or send an email to info@rcmpi.ca to have your tickets held.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Annual General Meeting on March 30. Paul Pengally has stepped down from the board following the AGM, we thank Paul for all of his hard work. We also welcome Fiona Douglas to the Board of Directors following the AGM.

A warm welcome to Stephanie Kroezen and Sarah Dexter, the newest members of our Publicity Committee. We also welcome Fran Rotondo who has joined the Social Committee and Lindsay Cox who has joined to Artistic Direction Committee

Shirley Valentine presented by 4th Wall Productions runs April 26-30 and stars RCMPI member Jen Barson. Tickets are available here.
P.S Your Cat is Dead is Guelph Little Theatre's final show for this season and runs May 27 to June 11. Tickets are available here.
Little Women presented by Elora Community Theatre runs May 6-15 at the Fergus Grand Theatre. Tickets are available here.

The Singer's Theatre is holding auditions for their senior summer intensive program for ages 14 to 24, auditions run April 30 and May 1. More information is available here.
At the Crossroads presented by Wordscribe is a play written by RCMPI alumus and local playrwight Stephen Young. The production runs June 3 to 10 at the Waterloo Region Museum. Tickets are available here.

The Guelph Wellington Seniors Association is searching for a producer/director to lead their annual variety show this December. If you are interested please contact Becky McDonald at the Evergreen Seniors Centre, 519-823-1291.

RCMPI Membership

Please note that our membership policy has changed:

As of January 1, 2016 memberships will be valid for one year from the month of purchase and will no longer expire at the end of the calendar year. The policy is retroactive to September of 2015. If you purchased your membership in September 2015 or later it will remain valid until September of 2016. Membership prices have also changed, "Full" memberships will now be $25.00 and "Junior" memberships (for those 15 and under) will now be $10.00. If you have any questions about these changes please email info@rcmpi.ca.
